Position Overview:

We are seeking a Part-Time Medical Director to join our team at Relive Health. This is a hybrid position requiring approximately 20 hours per month (with a mix of virtual and in-person work). The Medical Director will be responsible for providing medical leadership to patient care teams, including Nurse Practitioner and/or Physician Assistant and mid-levels. You will play a critical role in enhancing patient care, improving clinical outcomes, and supporting operational efficiency. The ideal candidate will have a strong primary care background and experience in medical management in a clinical or hospital setting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Medical Direction & Administration: Provide medical leadership by reinforcing health center guidelines, standing orders, and ensuring compliance with medical protocols.
  • Team Supervision: Supervise Nurse Practitioner and/or Physician Assistant and mid-levels, ensuring quality assurance and clinical standards are met across all services.
  • Collaboration: Act as the primary medical expert when collaborating with vendors, non-medical facilities, and external partners to enhance our service offerings.
  • Patient Care Oversight: Review client records, ensure continuity of care for patients with long-term medical conditions, and oversee diagnostics and treatments.
  • Quality Assurance: Lead quality assurance initiatives, ensuring timely and accurate documentation and medical records for all patients.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Maintain up-to-date licensure for all medical staff and ensure all providers are certified to perform the services offered at the center.
  • Communication: Work closely with administration and other team members to ensure open, effective communication throughout each patient’s wellness journey.
Qualifications:

  • Education: MD/DO with Arizona Board Certification
  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years of clinical experience, with at least several years in a medical management or leadership role
  • Licensure: Current, active medical licensure to practice in Arizona
  • Skills: Familiarity with EHR/EMR systems, excellent communication, leadership, and team management skills
  • Additional: Strong background in primary care and hospital administration; ability to provide direction and support to a diverse medical team
